They operate under different pressures and temperatures depending on the material and process used and can operate with batches or continu ... Industrial dryers are used to remove moisture from a product. They operate under different pressures and temperatures depending on the material and process used and can operate with batches or continuously. Rotary dryers flow product through a rotating cylinder and apply heat from natural gas, electric heating elements, or steam. Spray dryers disperse sensitive products through heated air and then separate the dried product from the gas with a cyclonic separator. Freeze dryers bring a chamber to a low, freezing temperature and then reduce the pressure of the chamber low enough so that the frozen water goes directly from a solid to a gas. There are many types of industrial dryers, and the material to be dried will be a large factor in finding the proper machine. [show more] [show less]
